Are you moving out of state with pending US citizenship case? I have been in this dilemma and I felt obliged to share it here so others will not be worried about their case. Why would you postpone your move?
Two weeks after I filed my application, we are talking about moving out of state. There are tons of questions on our mind what to do, how to do it, when to do it, about my application. I have read forums searching for the same situation as I was. None of them could help me, as what I have read the most is stay and wait until the process is done. But would I be willing to wait 3 to 4 months or whenever until I get the interview? So we took the risk, we still moved to note that when we move that was 1 week away from my interview, yes just one week and we didn't wait! Why? Would you be willing to pay 1-2 months rent and bills until your oath is done? Our work required us to move and so we moved.
Here's the key to make it hassle free, well for me, take note every case varies.

Oath taking
Here's the key to make it hassle free, well for me, take note every case varies.
- Look for a place for new address
- File AR11 online plus the pending case form online
- Call USCIS per AR11 instructions
- Write a letter of explanation address to which local office your case was pending at
- Move
- Wait for the next steps from USCIS
thanks for the info sis.. wow that's pretty fast!!!... i'm still waiting for my 10 years approval or interview...it sucks!!! it takes forever!!!... my bio was last may 26 and until now never heard from them yet..not even on the website... it is really annoying!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you sis! That is aggravating to wait and hear nothing. The longest I had was during my first GC that was because they were backlogged due to the fee increase. My 10yr GC only took 45days it was smooth and easy.
ReplyDeleteOn my first GC I didn't hear from them for a while too then I received my interview appointment. Hopefully your GC will arrive soon.
I could not believe in my eyes that it took forever. my adjustment was totally smooth and it only took me 30 days then i had my card, i thought the removal would even make it faster since we there's nothing change except on having an additional member of the family. and now, i've never heard anything from them. I don't want to call and ask what's going on because i can see the process online as long as i have my case number... but i just can't believe it..i do hope that i'll get my card right away since they didn't give me any interview schedule....
ReplyDeleteit's really aggravating, i'm waiting for nothing...i even lost my receipt from them.. don't know where i put it....hayyyyy
Atchi! Happy Lunes! taksyapo another week na naman neh? Pila namang aldo bayu weekend....hay. Oyni pating apun mumuran keng baryu mi. Oks mu at least milalako ing
