Two More Days....

We can't wait! My MIL is arriving on Thursday to visit us here in our new place in the West Coast! We are very excited to see her, it's been a while since I saw her and we miss her so much. We have choices where to take her what about going to the space needle and a cruise dinner? We are waiting for her to come over so we can all see the places together.

When hubby was moving before Ma was always there to help him get organized but this time I had an idea for her to come over when everything is settled so she can enjoy and relax instead of unpacking and organizing besides she is a very hard working mother and pre-occupied at work. She is with us on Halloween! Yipeeeee!!!

I've Finally Found Her

I am so happy that I have a constant contact with my college bestfriend again. She moved to HI when we were in 2nd year and just seen her once when she visited the Philippines for vacation. When we are new in the school or even at work usually your seatmate will become your close friend. We were three original unbeaten triplets that became very close to each other from our first subject til going home.

Since we were very close we took the same bus together going home hahah that's how funny it was! Rose lived in Pilar Village, Christy lived in Alabang and I lived in FTI but I ride the bus with them until Alabang and took 15 mins. jeepney ride (no traffic) going to our apartment then we are not satisfied yet we have to call and make three way. When someone is going to a date the two of us will be chaperons, yes the poor guy needs to treat 3 ladies and if we do not like the guy he will not get the YES answer.

I searched and did not give up until I found Rose again, I googled her name apparently she is married so I did my best to find her married name. When I found some possible last name in google I checked in friendster and there she was with her beautiful family! It's been a decade and now we are back on track to communicate with each other.

Weekend Road Trip

Last Saturday we have nothing to do after taking the dog in the park hubby had an idea of road trip. Of course that would be fun needless to say that the weather was beautiful every weekend. The sun is out and the clouds are clear to let you enjoy the breeze of the wind. We drove about 40 miles and enjoyed the scenery of the trees turning the leaves into dark orange.

I enjoyed looking outside the car window, the beautiful river, green surroundings, beautiful sky and mountaineous views. Next time our destination would British Columbia, Canada!

Template Make Over

While having breakfast if you may call it, hubby just had fruits today the wife was not able to make breakfast due to the messed up time. Anyway, while we were having our coffee and fruit breakfast he suddenly asked me to revised our templates. Awww! He wants them to look new and fresh so that will be my assignment for today. I am thinking of what and how to revise it, the color combination to make it look better and neat. I will revise his blog but not mine coz it's a lot of work. So at any time soon his blog will look new! For the meantime, I have to fill in my tummy first for sure my brain will not function unless I'm stuffed!

This song is my former boss favorite during our Xmas party in Year 2001 she requested my student to sing this. It's a sad love song longing to have someone she loves but it's not possible. All she wishes is have one chance with the person she loves but what else she can do but to dream.

It's a good song to those who are sentimental when their loveone loves someone else already. A break up song maybe and one of them is still hoping. Anyway to my friend who is brokenhearted right now (you know who you are wink!) just hang on there, someone you deserves will come along your way. Let go, love will lead you to heartaches but it will also lead you to love again. In love you get hurt but when you found your destiny it's all worth it and you will smile looking back to your past and be thankful that love hurt you.

Licensure Examination for Teachers September 2008

I have been lurking around to PRC official website to check the LET passers for September 2008 examinees. As of this time PRC did not release the result yet and been reading PRC Board Exam Results so far no update. I am anxious to see the result of successful examinees hoping to see my sibling's name on it. I know she's lacked of financial resource and time to take a refresher course but I believe it it's meant for her to pass she will make it.

It saddened me though reading comments and reactions of those who took the LET stating that the questions were erroneous and some of the proctors were unprofessional and disorganized. Different reactions but the proctor issues and questionnaires topped it all. Many are bragging to get a leakage, others are saying those who took review at PNU got a lot of questions in the actual exam (do I smell something fishy here?) and there are a lot more.

I hope that there will be no cheating issue to arise like what happened to the nursing board if we still remember. Let us make the world proud of Filipino teachers and other professionals than giving them the impression of being board exam cheaters because they lose their trust to us.

Future teachers be responsible to what you say on the net, let you all be a model to your future students and to those who are bragging that they got leakage on the exam how can you tell your students not to cheat if you yourself has been a cheater? Everyone wanted to pass, if you cheat just shut your mouth and hope those deserving examinees will pass despite of the exam issues.

Our New Home Sweet Home

After over a week we are almsot done with our home tasks! We love our new home sweet home, the fresh air at night and the comfort of no neighbor connected to our unit is the best. No steps to hear from next door, we our have own little world in our new home full of love and affection. After all the body sore moving our stuff from one place to another we are finally 95% done! We can relax at night burning woods in our fireplace while watching TV and doing stuff in the computer and the Luna Biscuit sleeps by the fireplace to keep her warm. Thank you so much for my wonderful "asawa" for taking care of everything, you are the best!

This is my favorite song when I was working in PS. Bench loves to sing this one, I did not read the English translation but the beat is familiar to me and the girl on the video is my favorite Korean actress.

More Calls More Talk

I'm very happy yesterday when our home phone provider called and informed me that our line is already active and ready to use. Hubby got me a plan to call in the Philippines for free when I'm calling a land line phone and this time it's 500 minutes! Yes! Thanks a bunch my "asawa" you are the best!

I called my hubby right away and let him know our home phone is working then I dialed my friend's number in PI and we talked and talked and talked. When I call a cellphone number they only charge .05 cents the greatest deal ever to call the Philippines. I do not know if it's also available to other states but we got it from Verizon. If you are interested to save from calling your family back home try to inquire from Verizon if they have that promo offers in your state. (Note: Click phone image for source)

Internet Explorer vs. Mozilla

Last night I got two opps from SS and the deal is better than most so I took advantage and grab the task right away. But you need to embed a video in your post which I did and I enjoyed writing it not only that it's easy but I can relate to the topic and the subject according to the advertiser's desires. When I'm ready to submit my post and published it in my blog awwwwwww there's a big problem it screwed up my entire blog!

I tried to edit the java codes which I am not very familiar with but still it's screwed up! When I tried viewing it in IE oh wow! It works perfect but my visitors are using different browsers and I want them to enjoy my blog especially my friends and relatives all over the world. So I gave up the 25 bucks than having a screwed up blog.
