Love is in the Air at Wowowee

I'm watching this variety show wowowee before going to bed and they have this new game called hep hep hurray and the nursing student won the game. When Willie asked her to greet she greeted her boyfriend who is leaving soon to USA. Willie then asked the guy to give his message to his girlfriend and ohhh mannnnn he cried! It doesn't mean that if a guy cries he is gay or "bakla" they are just being themselves and expressing how they feel. Anyway, good night everyone! I will be back tomorrow afternoon again as that's the only time I can catch up with my blogs.

The Art of Painting

During grade school years, arts was my favorite subject because you can show your own creativeness and excel among your classmates. I am not good in drawing but I like experimenting the color combination sometimes, water colors, crayons, pens, but haven't tried the oil painting. We Filipinos also have great painters that has been part of the history. I love this painting picture because it reminds me when I was still in the province and our school has a small pond with lilies and you can hear the frogs croaking when it rains. This looks like exactly the same as the original lilies on that pond.

We have paintings at home too from different places whom my husband's grandmother collected from her trips. Our steps wall has little paintings hanging on the wall. I found the site called oil reproductions that can be reference when you want painting reproductions and protect them with frames. They have gallery wrap frame, golden, silver and brown wooden frame which I think will work for those who are into cross stitching too. Having a painting decorations looks your house more elegant especially if the artist is famous. If you are looking for a famous artist art work Paint Your Life has a wide selection of paintings by subject, movement or artist with reasonable price.

Bar Topnotcher from Ateneo

The BAR exam result in the Philippines has been released and Mercedita Ona from Ateneo got the highest rank whom she did not expect. I was watching the interview at TFC that she spent 6.5 days a week in reviewing and feel that being the rank one is a bonus to her. She only 27 years old and working in the lawyer's office who waited for the result at home and did not expect the great news. Wanna Read the News?

What Do I Love Most About my Husband?

Madel forwarded me this tag about what are the things you love most about your husband. I consider that I am one of the luckiest to have such a wonderful partner in life. I can't count all the good qualities of my booboo but I listed the characteristics below to name a few:

* Loving and respectful to Mom - which means he does respect and loves his wife (also I amadvising my friends that if a man is respectful and loving to his parents then he will love you and respect you.

* He is not the senyorito type - he does the vacuuming, ironing, bathroom cleaning, decaf brewing, he is very neat at home and a good provider.

* He loves me the most and our little gurl, he respect and loves my family.

* The moment I saw my John Lloyd look alike man, I know he is the one for me.

I do not have to list more because my friends can tell how lucky I am for they witnessed it with their 2 eyes. Everyone can grab this to share their husband's qualities.

Pic for Laugh Tag

Since there's nothing much to do today, no opps, done grabbing tags and enhancing my templates I got an idea start a funny tag to lessen our wrinkles if we have already (like me).

Start Copy Here:

There are only 3very simple rules:

1. Select a funny picture of you and share your story why that picture is funny.
2. Add your post permalink t MY FUNNY PIC (so bloggers will know where to look at ur funny pic) then next your blog link/s.
3. TAG only 1 (YEAH ONLY ONE PERSON) so the link list wont break.

Here's mine:
The story behind this picture: Every time we enjoy eating steamed corn am laughing at my booboo how he eats his corn. For me, when I eat it I want it as clean as possible "yung tipong walng tira tira na parang bungi ang kumain (sorry dunno how to translate them in english)". So I was telling him this is the proper way of eating a corn. He enjoys looking at me even more when I do cross-eyed and he can't help but took this pic.

Life is Full of Gratitude

Thanks Juliana for this tagged, this is a good opportunity for me to share the blessings I have in life that I am thankful enough. These are the most I am thankful of:

My Husband, Family, Friends - Without them I would be nothing (of course next to our Creator). I am surrounded with countless blessings having these people around me. Everyone can leave you but not those real friends and family who will always be there to support you no matter what. My Life is such an endless journey with them, words are not enough to explain how blessed I am but through my eyes you can see a happy and satisfied family woman and having a career in life.

Those trials I surpassed in my life for it made me stronger and being MYSELF who and what I am now. There are times that you may think it's the end of the world for you but always remember that there's rainbow after the rain.

I love the line of Pilar Pilapil "Believe that you're worthy of it, ang taong nagpapatulak ang ibig sabihin ay nagpapatulak, if you stand your ground then nobody can push you around" from the Teleserye LOBO.

Alligator Style Flip Flops Revenge

First time she did it maybe as a sort of revenge? I know Luna my little dog wanted my attention however I was busy blogging and responding to my tag board. She kept coming back and fort to her food and trying to get some attention from me to pat her in return all I say was "go eat your food". Afterwards I move my computer to the living room so I can sit while she's laying on the carpet. She was persistent to get my attention indeed so I gave her sticks and bones, 3 sticks finished. I thought she's mumbling on her bone so am at ease to do what makes me busy.

When I turn my head to our steps direction my flip flops are there which I remember I left them by the door when we got back home. The small pieces of pink stuff caught my attention even more, oppppppssssss Luna ruined them!!!! Now she caught my attention, she might got tired of trying hard how to give her pat and play time since she's all alone at home all day. The right pair now looks like a crocodile or alligator teeth or I could say a logging saw. Well, in some point it's my fault also maybe if I gave her some time then she won't do this. She's such a darling and very house trained but knows how to seek for attention. Hope next time she wont break my computer as she is giving it a sharp look while am typing this.

Power Outage in Manila Domestic Airport

I am watching the news tonight and shocked about the power outage in the old Manila Domestic Airport. Trips were delayed for about 3 hours because the airport staffs need to check manually.

THE DARK AGES: Airline personnel check in passengers using flashlights and emergency lights after a power outage hit the Manila Domestic Airport in Pasay yesterday. Photo By Rudy Santos

MANILA -- A power outage hampered the operations of the Manila Domestic Airport Tuesday causing a delay in some 50 flights, an airport official said.

TG Serrano, assistant general manager for corporate affairs of the Manila Domestic Airport, said the power outage was due to heat pressures of the summer weather on the airport facilities.

According to Serrano, the airport terminal is expanding and rehabilitating some of its power facilities.

"(During summer months), there has been a lot of pressures on our facilities, especially our cooling equipment, and it's taking its toll on our electrical wirings," Serrano said.

It was learned that the airport's newly installed circuit breaker continued to fail after its first incident last Saturday, which caused a similar power failure at the airport.

He also said the impact of the power failure has affected the entire domestic airport that hampered some 50 domestic flights but it did not affect the airport traffic control, which has its own separate facility.

Pressures on package checking and disruption on counter operation have also caused the delays of flights. However, airport personnel will make sure that there will be no cancellation of flights, he added.

Serrano said passengers are advised to contact their airlines about their specific flight schedules. The affected domestic airlines are Cebu Pacific, Asian Spirit, and SeAir.

Airport authorities, together with police and transportation officials, are in a crisis mode to ensure passengers' safety or security. (Sunnex) Source:

And the big news is I received a notice from the USCIS for my AOS interview. It's been a long 10 months waiting before I received the notice. Well I can't complain now in fact am very happy that finally I know they touch my application. We were so aggravated for the long wait hope everything will go smoothly.

Husband on Board!

You got it right! My loving husband is now on blogging board! AIR SICK blog is on board! He is going to compile and share his funny, aggravating and fantastic trips with us including his daily work activities. So hotels, travel agencies, rent a cars and many more beware! He is going to share with us exactly what his points of views and personal experience especially when he is pissed off with the hotel he stayed at. His number one complain to most hotels is "he is not able to get the room he reserved ahead of time and it's confirmed in his reservation which is very simple give him a KING size bed!" Hhahahaha!!! Yes, that's his number request during the reservation.

He is also one of the top members of most hotels here in the USA but not so demanding for the privileges he is supposed to get from the hotel even its staff. But mind him, when he is satisfied with his stay your hotel will absolutely get 5 ratings in his reviews. He is a good review writer and I love getting his free gifts of them. But having his own blog means giving me a little more thing to do to organize his lay outs because that's the job of being his asawa. I am his blogging coordinator and ohhhh mahhh gossshhhh his blog is not even 24 hours long yet and he wants ranking right away! I love you my boobooo and welcome to the world of blogging. I'm off here to enhance your layout. =)

Easter Sunday!

I'm sorry guys if I did not reply to your IMs yesterday coz we went to the mall and had some shopping. It's our routine to go to the mall and shop while having our coffee. There is such a particular store we love to go to for their branded and affordable stuff. The only thing I hate about it is that I can't really find the right clothing size that suits my taste.

Others maybe busy with the egg hunting today but we are still here at home having coffee and sitting in front of our computers. I wonder if I would be an easter egg what would I be? The answer is below:

You Are a Swirled Easter Egg
Completely psychedelic ... just like the Easter Bunny!

No Bail for Luna

Poor Luna she is on probation yesterday, she got her dada's nerves by being hard headed. He brought her out to the park twice but she wouldn't poop. heheheh =) Funny, when they got back mah booboo was pissed off and ordered that she can't go out for 6 hours. Poor little gurl I can't bail her she has to learn her lesson.

She used to do her duties when we took her out or maybe we're taking her out too much that is why she thinks she can go out many times a day. She needs to get used to her routine now so when I work she will go out to the park in the morning and in the afternoon plus before going to bed at night. Finally after 6 hours banned my booboo ordered to take her out. Yippeeee!!!!

Cleaning Saturday

It's already afternoon but we did not clean yet! We did not plan of going out to some place today because according to the weather yesterday it will rain today. But as I can see the sun is shining so bright and it's 44F outside. I know it is a good time to go out but we'd rather stay here at home and clean. So today is cleaning time!

Happy Easter Everyone!

It's midnight in the Philippines in about 3 hours it's easter! We often have the "salubong" in the church during the dawn mass. My grandmother's dream was to join me in this even because she said my voice is "matinis". She was sewing our dresses for this kind of event, even planning that my cousins around my age would play as angels while I'm singing. However, it did not happen because the year that I was gonna do it she passed away which was sad because that was about 3 months before the event. She is known in our place in bicol because she is a popular to be a good dance instructor for my aunts and uncles who won contests in town. She also wants her grandkids to be as popular as her because for her it's an honor when her grandchildren won in the contest.

I AM LEGEND The Movie

Last night I skipped from blogging coz hubby and I watched this film "I AM LEGEND" by Will Smith played as Robert Neville a brilliant scientist but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. He is the last man alive on earth with his dog Sam. This is a Sci-fi film which sometimes made me scared with some scenes.

You know girls, always want a happy ever after ending and I want the dog to survive all throughout the film but she did not. I also want Neville to survive but he also did not but of course he became a legend for discovering the cure to this virus that made people mutant. Well anyway, I have another movie to share.

My 2 Dollars Worth

This afternoon while am in the bus going to the Lab where I will have my drug screen test for employment there's one guy who approached me. He looks fine and I thought he was asking me to turn down the volume of my ipod but then what he was asking me was if I have a spare dollar. I gave him a dollar because I believe it's better if someone is asking help from you than stealing.

But after just about 5 minutes he came back and asked another dollar for the second time, so I gave him again thinking that his money is not enough to get to his home and when he said thank you he also said that it's for chicken. But in my mind am thinking if he is going to come back and ask for another one I will scream and ask help from the driver. Lucky enough there's an old woman who got in and he asked her a dollar hahahhaha!!! That was the time I realized that he might be lunatic. When he get off I asked the other lady and she told me that he is crazy because she saw him couple times. Ohhh well, it's fine at least I was safe and helped him in a little way.

Good Friday in the Philippines

Good Friday in the Philipines, at the night of God Friday we used to do the "Bisita Iglesias" or 9 church visitation. My teacher in high school told us that when you write your petition and do the visit your petition will be granted. I don't know how true but there is no harm and as long as you feel okay with visiting then it's fine. This is also good to visit and see your friends around.

Dinner at Cheesecake Factory

Tonight is just an ordinary night but my loving booboo took me out, he called me before he got off from work to prepare myself. I thought we will walk up to the mall, get coffee and go to junior section to check if there is some interesting stuff but then we headed to the Cheesecake Factory which is also my booboo's fave restaurant because of the cheesecake of course.
I ordered Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp a delicious mild spicy Thai dish sprinkle with peanuts and coconut milk. Mah booboo got lemon herb chicken. This is such a delicious meal and we are both full and not able to order cheesecake to go. I want to figure out how to make this dish.

Cheesecake Factory Bang-Bang Chicken And Shrimp

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 pound chicken breast tenders
1 tablespoon chicken broth
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 teaspoon dried cilantro
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
Pinch of ground turmeric
1 cup coconut milk (substitute light, no sugar added, if desired)
2 tablespoons macadamia nuts, finely ground
1 teaspoon sugar (substitute Splenda, if desired)
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
2 cups fully cooked shrimp
1 tablespoon tamarind paste (available in Indian and specialty stores)
2 teaspoons water Chopped scallion, garnish

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 5 minutes per side or until browned and no longer pink in the center. Remove the chicken to a plate and set aside. Heat the broth in the same skillet. Add onion, garlic, cilantro, ginger, lemon peel, cumin and turmeric and cook for 5 minutes or until the onion is tender but not browned. Stir in coconut milk, nuts, sugar, red pepper and shrimp. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the chicken is heated through. Remove the chicken and shrimp to a plate and keep warm. Do not discard the sauce in the pan. In a small bowl, combine the tamarind paste and water. Stir into the sauce in the skillet and gently boil until thickened and the mixture measures about 1 cup. Evenly divide the chicken and shrimp among 4 plates. Top with sauce and garnish with scallion.

Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday)

Holy Thursday is the feast or holy day on the Thursday before Easter that commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles. On this day, Christians remember the Last Supper. During the meal Jesus took bread and wine and shared them with his disciples. Christians continue to share bread and wine as part of their worship in church. The Last Supper was probably a Passover meal which Jewish people share together to celebrate the time when God delivered Moses and the people from slavery in Egypt. The night of Maundy Thursday is the night on which Jesus was betrayed by Judas in the Garden of Gethsemane. Maundy Thursday is the day before Good Friday. It is one of the lesser known days of the Christian calendar. The name 'Maundy' is derived from the command or mandatum by Christ at the Last Supper, to love one another:
'And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.' John 15:12
During the Last Supper, Jesus washed his disciples' feet. This act has sometimes been followed literally in history as a good way of reminding rulers that they are here to serve their subjects.
During Holy Week we attend a night mass with friends and family, they usually have vendors outside the church and some church offer free meal. During Holy Thursday it's very quiet in our place as we respect the memory of Christ sufferings. I was raised by 2 religions Roman Catholic and Methodist so my beliefs are kinda mixed up too. During this week we also avoid to eat meat or do fasting.

Holy Week in the Philippines

This is a common street scene in Pampanga, I used to run and hide whenever they are coming (we call them manadarami)

Holy Week is the last week of Lent, when we follow Jesus from Palm Sunday, the Sunday of the Passion, to his death on Good Friday in preparation for his rising from the dead on Easter Sunday.
Palm Sunday: Accompanied by his disciples, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a colt, while crowds of people covered the streets ahead of him with their cloaks and with palm branches.
Monday: Jesus chased the money-changers out of the Temple. Tuesday and Wednesday: Jesus preached and taught in Jerusalem.

Weekend Blast!

Yes! I can now make my own shakes! My booboo finally got me a blender. He kept buying me those smoothie stuff and I did not like them in the end it stuck in the fridge and expired. I told him I want the real shakes or smoothies made by me not those ready made. The spoiled wife is very happy today with the new blender and with a bonus of ripe mangoes (kalabaw from mexico), we bought them from wholefoods.

I already had a piece of mango after dinner and planning to make a shake after posting this, what do you think? When he asked me if I want decaf, I replied "no thank you, i'll have a shake". I also got avocados, strawberries, even buko (young coconut). Thanks a lot my asawa!

August Rush The Movie

After dinner tonight, we had our bonding moment cuddle on the couch while watching this movie entitled "August Rush" a love story that will make your heart cry. Well, this is how the spirit of love bring us with each other. If you are really meant to be no matter how long and how far you've been apart time will bring you back with each other's arms again. I like the movie and I enjoyed it. So here I am back to blogging! Good night guys! Am done with all my tasks, let's all have a wonderful night and great day ahead.

Let's Have Grilled Pork Today

Wow!!! I am craving for pork chops since last week but it was too cold outside. Ana is off today and asking me to go to downtown DC so we can roam around but am not into riding a subway and wants to make this yummy recipe in the grill park here. Of course I will take my little girl with me with her leashed so I will enjoy the grilling time. Thank you yahoo for the great recipe! Wanna know the recipe? Here it is:

Grilled Pork Chops with Anise-Seed Rub and Mango Mojo

1 mango, peeled and coarsely chopped
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 large garlic clove
1 tablespoon chopped fresh jalapeno (including seeds)
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon anise seeds
3/4 teaspoon black peppercorns
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar3 tablespoons olive oil
4 (3/4-inch-thick) loin pork chops, trimmed

HOW TO:
  1. Prepare grill (do not spread charcoal out to edges of grill).
  2. Make mojo: Puree mango, lime juice, garlic, jalapeno, and salt in a blender, then stir in cilantro.
  3. Make rub: Finely grind anise seeds and peppercorns in an electric coffee/spice grinder with salt and sugar. Transfer mixture to a small bowl and stir in oil.
  4. Grill pork: Brush both sides of pork with spice rub.
  5. Grill pork on an oiled rack set 5 to 6 inches over glowing coals 2 minutes on each side. Move pork off to side of grill (not directly over coals; moderately low heat for gas grills) and cook pork, covered, turning once, until just cooked through, about 3 minutes more on each side.
  6. Transfer to a platter and let stand, loosely covered, 5 minutes.
  7. Serve pork with mojo.

A Long Lost Friend

I have a long lost friend that until now I am hoping to get in touch with her. Hope she will come across to my blog and recognize me. Babylen was my high school closest friend she's been like a sister to me. She used to lived with her Aunt and during our 3nd year she moved back home in Bataan to her family. From that time, I haven't heard from her anymore even a single letter.

We shared our dreams, we compete in class top ranking but it did not hinder us from being friends. Among 14 friends in a group which we called the dwarfs and giants circle because 7 of us are petite while 7 are quite big for a normal filipina built. They were all gone durin my junior years they more to different places and I met 3 new close friend but Babylen is the most special friend to me during those times. I tried my best to get in touch with her, even asked my brother to go to her address in Bataan, unfortunately she was not there and her mom said she's working in Olongapo. I did not know if she got my letter to her telling her I am in college and got scholarship. I also tried searching her name but maybe she is married now and using hubby's lastname.

Hopefully she's able to read this and at least comment here and I will be glad to get in touch with her again because she has been a special part of my life.

Pick Your Wedding Invitation

Here comes the bride, here comes the bride! Wedding is a long way planning before it's finally done for the ceremony. A woman one biggest dream is to walk in the aisle and exchange vows to the man that she loves and cherish eternally.

We want to have a perfect wedding ever as we know this will be a one time fantasy. From the gowns, motif, flowers, church, sponsors, receptions, everything but do not forget the invitations to send in advance.

When I will have my church wedding in the Philippines in the future I want to pick Contemporary Wedding Invitations to make my dream wedding come true. This Periwinkle Rosette caught my attention. I want to get it for my own wedding. It has elegant design, white paper stock and pure white color that symbolize our pure love and affection. I want to customize to have our names on the front with doves pictures on it. When you open the card the left side would have our own composed vows and inside would be the list of sponsors and participants while the last fold will be our acknowledgment and some more. I will make this invitation presentable to our motif and guests. I'm sure having this 1st Class Wedding Invitations will make our church wedding a first class and elegant one.

How to Block PayPopUp Ads

You might be reading this because you're blog has been hi-jacked by an evil paypopup ads which is really annoying. I understand those who appreciate it and want these ads on their sites to earn but not with my blog. I wanna share with you guys how I fixed it and hope it will work with yours. But of course do not be dependent with these. We wondered how did it happen because we did not sign up for this stuff.

My observation are these:
* Few hours before I get these pop ups from paypopups.com I noticed that my blog was too slow to load up and my widgets doesn't load properly. Until suddenly I got these pop ups! Toinks!!!! My hubby did everything to fix using our spyware, avast, norton but still pop ups are there no matter how our pop up blockers are on. Every ads domain that pop ups I add them to my url block list.

We installed security in mozilla which works fine but the things is, it will keep them blocked on my computer but what about my blogger friends and readers they will still get them.

I want to have a completely neat blogsite! Hhehehe =) My hubby found out where the heck they are coming from after checking the codes and everything. Usually when u edit your codes they wont pop up for couple minutes but then they will attack your blog again!

Remove them!

1. Check all your codes - in mozilla you will notice on your bottom bar where it says - DONE - Loading etc... then suddenly pop ups popped 80% of your screen or worst hang !!!! that's a hint your code for that link is infected. - MOSTLY THEY ARE IN YOUR RANK WIDGET codes.

2. Delete all your java script widgets! That's were it's coming from perhaps. If you know the exact code you can tell that's where the intruder installed the code. (In my case almost everything!)

3. Re-edit your templates (optional - but every time am having problems with blogger that's what i do and works fine after)

4. Change your password! Make sure to make a strong password (advice - don't use the same password as your email addy or paypal or other sites where you have important info)

5. Try it! If it works, Congrats! Wish you all a neat blog. Happy blogging friends! So far when I did those listed above, I haven't had problem with popups since then.

Thank you so much for my hubby and ate gigi as they were supportive and helpful when I was going crazy by these pop ups.

Thank You PaypopUPs virus for your PORN ADS! Hhahahahah =) Bummer!

Sunny San Diego I Did Not Make It

Hayyyy!!! I was imagining that I am in sunny San Diego today with my friends but I did not make it to get there. I spent 8 hours in the airport trying to get a flight to catch at least my connection in ATL. We found out that my flight was going to be 2 hours delayed which means I will miss my second plane.

After 1.5 hours on hold we finally got a real representative and was able to book me to the DCA airport bound to Atlanta and it was really my luck yesterday when I get to the airport my flight again was scheduled to depart an hour later :(( they have to change my flight 4 times and finally ended to my supposedly connection SALT Lake City which did not happen at all because at the time our boarding they canceled all delta flights bound to ATL and West Coast. What an experience!

Well, I was not upset even though I was in the line with about more than 1k people trying to get a flight because watching those people crying due to the inconvenience I felt lucky because all I have to do is pick up my baggage and head to home and let my booboo take of everything online. So I am here spending my hope to be a sunny weekend in Ca with my little gurl.

IMPORTANT PLEASE REPLY

To all my visitors here, please help me figure out if you guys are getting pop up ads when opening my blog as I have mention in my previous post. I need to conduct a survey before filing a complaint and let the intruder pay for this. I DID NOT SIGN UP for anything about PAYPOPUP ADS. So within 3 days I need to see if it will keep popping up.
Please leave me a comment here and I appreciate your participation. Hope it wont happen on your blogs. BTW, we tried everything to trace about it, it's not on my code not even in our system at home. Thanks a lot guys!

Irritating & Annoying Pay POP Up Ads!

Has anyone of you guys experience this annoying pop whenever you open your blog site? I noticed this tonight at around 8pm at first I thought it's only once but every time I refresh my blog it keeps popping up and really pissed me off. I am not interested to earn from their S****Y ads. For your information here how it looks like:

Who would want something like this on their blog? I hate it! I am really pissed off that this is messing with my blog. In the first place I do not remember that I sign up for this kind of pay per click because I do not want bunch of ads on my blog. If anyone of you has an idea on how to turn it of please do help me. I already contacted the customer support of http://paypopup.com that I did not subscribe for this kind of Sh** on my siteand waiting for their wonderful reply about it.

Dinner At Chilis

We just got back from our dinner with Ana at Chilis near by. The food as usual was delicious! Chilis is our favorite place in Greenbelt, Makati because of the warm and polite servers not to mention the yummy food. Ana and I had Firecracker Tilapia with rice yippeeee and I am extremely full. We drove Ana to the Metro station and we headed home.

Before we leave we set up our camera to check out on our little girl how she behave while we are gone. It's her first time more than an hour alone at home and she did great! She laid right by the door and enjoyed her pig ears and sleep under the table. Now we are confident enough to leave her alone at home when we are gone but of course not when we are out of town where she has to go for dog boarding like tomorrow.

Moon Pie

Luna Biscuit is a French for moon pie that's where we got Luna's name. I was wondering how does moon pie look like and guess what? Ma and Popsie Ken sent me presents. Moon pie, top and skirt which is really good for my upcoming trip. I love the moon pie and did not even want to share my booboo a bite. But of course we are hubby and wifey so I shared one bite with him but he made sure it's a big bite. heheheh clever!

Wanna know how moon pie started? Click Here.

Kennon Road, Baguio City

As you noticed my header background is a road because I want to relate it to the title "adventures" That's Kennon Road going to Baguio City, Philippines. I took that picture last year on our trip to Baguio City with my relatives and friends. Baguio City is the Summer Capital of the Philippines where the weather is cool with the scent of pine trees.

Geography

Baguio City occupies 49 square kilometers of hilly land on a plateau about 1,500 meters high in the southwestern portion of the Cordillera Central mountain range in northern Luzon. It is completely surrounded by the province of Benguet in which the city used to be a town of before being made into an independent city. The city is bordered by the municipality of Tuba to the south and west, by Itogon to the east, and by Benguet's capital, La Trinidad to the north.

The three main access roads leading to Baguio from the lowlands are Kennon Road, Marcos Highway, and Naguilian Highway. Kennon Road starts from Rosario, La Union and winds its way through a narrow and steep valley. This road is the fastest route to Baguio but is the most dangerous with frequent landslides during the rainy season. Marcos Highway, which starts from Agoo, La Union, and Naguilian Highway, which starts from Bauang, La Union, are more roundabout routes but are much safer than Kennon Road and are the preferred routes for coaches, buses and lorries.

On the time it will be approved to the blogging community those are the topics I want to grab and write blog about. Warming Up!

It's the 3rd day today, the temperature here in No.VA is warming up, whew! For 2 days it was 70 and now 50 up which means I can wear shorts again and sleeveless. I do not like winter so much, it makes me lazy huh! I don't go out as well coz of the cold wind blows. Can't wait to warm up again so I can walk to the mall anytime I want without worrying about freezing.

Feel Sexy, Be Sexy!

Since I am talking about fashion here, let's complete it with lingeries. We woman want to stay pretty and sexy not just when we go out but even during bedtime. Aside from being clean we want to stay pretty and sexy when we sleep. Girls thing! When I was working in Kuwait one of my sections is the lingerie section where I enjoy browsing sexy stuff and women stuff but I've never seen a leather lingerie. Cool right? Try them because they are not expensive. I will feel unique wearing them.

Shoes Again?

Yes shoes again! Opppsss not for me but for my booboo. I got him a pair of shoes as a share from my online earnings. At least I really feel good getting him something even though am a so called bummer hehehhehe. I need to make up because he did not receive a present from me last V day. But of course little Imelda was looking for shoes she can get unfortunately I did not find a pair that suits my taste. This is now his favorite shoes when we walk with our baby at the park.

Finally Arrived

Finally, yesterday my little present arrived and I picked it up from the office. I wonder why I did not hear someone ring our doorbell. Well, it doesn't matter anymore. I'm sure you now have an idea what did I get for my loving "asawa" yes I got him tie caddies so he has tie caddy when he travels. Wanna ask why did I come up with this idea? I will of course tell you why so don't laugh! Because when I packed his stuff in the suitcase we have nowhere to put his ties and don't want them to get wrinkled and we put them inside his shoes! Don't worry his shoes is not stinky hihihih =) I wanted to surprise him with this little stuff coz he kept giving me stuff and I don't give him any but my love and care which is more important.

You Needed Me

Rate this performance at the Sims On Stage
This is one of my ways to fight boredom, 'twas recorded while chatting with Marivic. I am no singer but I want to sing so bare with me. I know I sounded like a broken can (sniff!) but couldn't think of anything to post here so I posted this (kapal ko noh). My mind is currently not functioning to think of a good topic to post. Am here sitting in the couch watching the news in the Philippines.

My Baby's Treat

Happy weekend everyone! We had a good day today, after we brought our little baby to her vet check up, everyone in the hospital loves our little girl, she shook hands with them, laid back and please them. She has to visit the vet after a year because she's healthy, she did not even mind the injection on her arm, after her check up we headed back home. While I was multitasking (blog hopping and job hunting) my loving "booboo" cleaned the house and did the laundry. What a wonderful hubby!

AT 3 pm, we brought Luna to her orientation, the dog boarding wants to check how she will act without us. She passed of course with flying colors! She's a sociable little girl (no wonder because she was rescued in a farm where there are more than hundreds of dogs). We were watching her by the window and she's making friends with other dogs but she loves to jump on the sitter, as she wants more patting and attention. For the first time, we heard the word "FREE" for her, yes she will get a free 1st night stay.

Since we had a long day today, my booboo took me shopping and we headed to the barbecue restaurant and picked up our dinner. My favorite barbecue ribs! I love you mah booboo.

Angel Locsin Bares in Cosmopolitan Mag

Whew! Happy March 1 everyone! I was surprised by Lira's post about Angel Locsin being the March Cosmo Cover in the Philippine edition so I browsed. She's a constant top list in most beautiful and sexiest Filipinas for years now. With her natural appeal filipina beauty she bares it all now with confidence.

This is another blast for her career, she had a good choice posing it for the first time in Cosmopolitan which am also an avid subscriber way back in the Philippines. Read the more here:
