A personal touch art is always a good idea to send to your love ones and friends for any occasion. Are We Ready for the Beach?

Yes! Memorial is getting closer! We are going to the beach in Outerbanks, NC due to our excitement we went to target last Sunday and bought our beach chair because my booboo want our own one than renting. We pick this type with bottle holder on the arm chair and feet support to keep our feet well relaxed while enjoying the sun.

My booboo's chair is green and mine is pink pair to my pinky cap and pink goggles. So far, I already bought 3 bikinis for this trip! Not so excited huh! We also got our tanning lotion not an ocean potion though because we can't find any of it on the shelves.

The Houseplant Varieties

Planting is one of my interests especially ornamental plants, am dying to have a yard so I can plant more houseplant varieties. That is why in our patio 3 weeks ago I planted seeds to grow. I have some cosmos flowers and got 2 pots of the plant with pink flowers from the shower party.

I also have herbs and spices in our patio like peppers, tomatoes, spearmints, oreganos, scallions and the others that I am not familiar with the names. I water them regularly and we put plant food to keep them healthy.

I think I got my planting interest from my mom because she loves to plant different ornaments in front of our house. She have different types of orchids, ferns, zinias as long as she thinks it's pretty she would plant them. She also has some houseplant varieties at the backyard and she nags my nieces when they do not water them well.

Potty Training Children

Training a child seems so hard but it's not, maybe for new moms they find it hard but when they get through it they can tell it's easy. Help Me, What Reason?

Wondering why I caught some fishes today? Because we headed home after the interview I feel very good inside so I don't want to spoil my day when I get to work. I did not call my boss rather I called my supervisor at the temp and informed her that I do not like taking calls and if she can get me something else or other company that is closer at home.

Tomorrow I will talk to my boss and let her know that I can't really take calls and if she did not agree to give me another tasks which I doubt she will. I will inform the temp and they will take me out from there and set me for another interviews with other companies if necessary. So, I would need to face my last day at work tomorrow if ever. I think if am back to being bum will concentrate with blogging and take technical writing course online which I found free for basic one. Looking forward to get a job that I really want.

AOS Interview Approved!

And so we are finally done with the paperworks and rest for 2 years oh we need to report our marriage to the Philippine Consulate here in DC and renew my passport. We had our AOS interview this morning and everything went smoothly and the CO printed an approval notice right away and printed a reminder when to renew the residency and highlighted them so it's easier for us to remember and read.

I was kinda nervous because we forgot my husband's passport but since we are sure that they already have a copy and we have his original bc we are fine. When we enter the room I looked right away at our documents pile (about 10 inches thick) on the CO's table. She let us raise and swear and ask for our passports, marriage contracts, joint accounts, w2s, all proof with our both names written on it. Then after that she gave a page of questionnaire to my booboo and started the question to me. Basic questions but they are 4 pages whew, I asked her question which I was quite confused so she cited examples. After the questions, she asked for my employment letter which unfortunately I do not have but handed her all my pay stubs from Hilton time including the benefits application and my husband was noted as my beneficiary and visa versa with my husband's documents. She again asked for pictures so I handed her our album and scrap book with all my travel boarding passes and some souvenirs from those places. She gave me the paper to answer as well.

She read every captions on the pictures and is laughing that she found out our nicknames which she thinks is cute. She also looked at every page of the scrapbook and another good thing about that was the cards, invitations and letters are address to both our names. Funny thing is the question about what was our dinner last night. So I wrote down that my booboo had dinner during his company meeting here in DC and I had adobo. She read both of our answers and said that women do write longer than men. We are glad that our answers are matched. She is very nice and she took my i-94 and my EAD card and handed me the approval and renewal letter. Before we bid goodbye she has a special word for us, Bye Booboo!!!

Now wait until 3 weeks to get the green card on the mail which I know that it's actually color white not green.

Mall Afternoon

Hello guys! I did not go to work today after my AOS interview so we decided to do the cleaning and about to go to the mall now. My booboo is taking our little girl out for a walk so I will take advantage to write a quick post before heading to the mall.

We will go to Victoria's Secrets to check out some stuff that will fit me because ordering online is just way too expensive with their shipping and handling charge. I will catch you all when we get back.

Lap Band Surgery

It is so funny how a friend of mine back home uses some kind of wide garter on her tummy when she is at home she said she want to maintain her abs flat but she is in fact still fat because she doesn't do the proper diet i guess.

I think the best way that will work for her is to visit a lap-band surgeon so that in just one click she will get the result she wants to get instead of putting that garter on around her tummy and when she takes it off her skin looks all wrinkled.

Off to the USCIS!

Yep, we are off to the immigration interview today and I will see you all guys after 5pm this afternoon as we are not able to open any website in the new department but take calls after another. I do not feel any nervous today knowing that interview is coming up, all documents are ready, complete and well organized. I double checked them last night no matter how my migraine is attacking me as this is more important.

This one reasons why I do not want to work in a call center anymore, toxic after long hours work and feels like bees are always haunting in your ears. I will figure out today if I can move to another department, get another assignment or quit and look for another job.

I am also a member of ebay and I enjoy bidding with them and try selling items yet. We have collectibles to sell such as our extra starbucks mugs, zippos and many more. Both hubby and I have a 100% positive feedback from members. You Will Never Go Wrong With Empathy

Oh yeah, you will never go wrong with empathy that's one of the things I've learned from the call center back home. After half day tapping and listening to the calls, they finally put me on live. Imagine that? My trainer forwarded her feedback to our boss and she gave me A+!!! What??? The shortest training I've ever got and put you through the calls right away. The thing is I know I am capable enough to do the job but if your mind and yourself is not willing to do such thing you wont be motivated for that.

So during those 4 hours I was on hot seat and I know that somebody is listening to my calls cause it's static. So after a while she came to my cubicle and told me "You are doing great! Excellent! I'm listening to your calls". Ooohhhmiggoosssshhh!!!! Okay thank you for the compliments, enough of the compliments but did you ever ask me if I like the job? But they said I have no choice but to answer calls, can't do clerical/admin stuff.

Then here's another once again, the assistant said "Great, you are very confident in handling the calls". So it means there are 2 people who are listening to my calls!!! My trainer said that the way I handle the calls you can tell that I am well trained with empathy if a member is upset. Darn it! The empathy, yest it's the empathy's fault! I want to pretend slow but I think customer service comes first so it comes naturally from me to empathize when needed.
